A List of 20 Something Bloggers

Kyle Reed // @kylereed

I was asked this question yesterday:

Do 20 somethings blog?

Absolutely they do.” Then I paused and thought to myself, “do they?

I know a hand full of 20 somethings that blogged but beyond a list that I follow on twitter, my google reader and a few others from twitter I didn’t know where to turn to find out exactly what 20 somethings were blogging.

Here is where we are going to provide that place. I need your help in putting together a list of 20 something bloggers. Put in yourself, your friends, your family, people you don’t even know. Just insert their site below and their twitter name so that we can start formulating a list.

Also, if you could tweet this out and add a personal message to your twitter followers asking them to add to the list that would be killer.

And if you are an old 30 something you can add your blog here

Great idea man – to bad I am way out of of my twenties now!

    • http://thoughtsaboutnothing.com Kyle Reed

haha, well at least you can leave a link for us.

or i will do it: htp://geekforhim.com

Same here! :) Although I think the nice thing about being in my early 30s is that I have all the crazy 20something stuff out of the way, a little more wisdom than I did 10 years ago, but I’m not such a creature of habit like my mid-50s parents. In a way I do wish I had had kids earlier; I don’t have the same energy level to manage on interrupted sleep like I did five years ago.

haha, you sound like you are in your 50′s with those comments :)

        • http://www.bradblackman.com Brad Blackman

Well I can tell you I was a cranky old man when I was 19. I feel like I’ve gotten younger over the years.

  • http://www.ourrisingsound.com Kyle

Well this is the first time I feel left out since I entered my 30s ;-) Just turned 31…can’t keep up with you young whipper snapper bloggers

      • http://www.bradblackman.com Brad Blackman

Let’s start our own list for 30somethings. ;-)

That said, though I don’t see as clear a line between 29 and 30, especially now that I’m past 30. All it means is your insurance rates change. :-P In my experience I’m seeing that it’s not so much an age issue as it is a generational issue, although there are certain things that happen at certain life stages. (I think I’m going to explore this later…)

Thanks for compiling this list, Kyle. Blogging takes commitment; I’d be interested in knowing how committed the average 20-something blogger is…

    • http://thoughtsaboutnothing.com Kyle Reed

ya I would be as well. If I can figure out a way to do that I will definitely work on that.

Great list. I’ve already started reading.
It’s funny, being a 20 something is actually kind of the topic of my blog (and I’m a 20 something). Glad to see a community of sorts here. I will definitely be following to see where this goes.
