Catalyst 09

Now, this is a story all about how My life got flipped-turned upside down.
And I liked to take a minute just sit right there I’ll tell you how I came to Catalyst for free….

Yesterday John Saddington sent out a tweet looking for some production help. Being without a job and having some experience in production stuff I decided to send him an email expressing interest. When I sent the email I thought maybe he was talking about an actual job. Right after I sent the email he tweeted again saying that it was only for catalyst. I was pretty bummed, but decided to see what he would say to my email. Needless to say, he sent me another email telling me to call him.

I was pretty shocked and reacted like anyone else would, I called him. He told me some of the details and asked what my experience was. We chatted for a minute and he told me I was his man. There was only a couple of details that were being left out. I live in St. Louis and I don’t have a ticket to catalyst. Really those were no problem and before I knew it I was in my car driving down to Atlanta.

After a quick 8 hour drive I arrived at the Church Crunch Party a little late and then off to John’s house to sleep and get ready for Catalyst.

I am basically serving with catalyst backstage. Whatever they need I do and with a smile. Today was all about set-up and testing. the next few days are all about…..well you will just have to come back to find out.

Kyle, so great to meet you. You did a phenomenal job w/ Catalyst Backstage. And you are a really cool dude. Let me know if there's ever anything I can do for you! (once you get a website up about that young leaders thing you were telling me about, I'll blog it up!)
