Archives For Music

Here are 3 things I am loving right now:

1. Casey Neistat Vlog

I first discovered Casey through Snapchat.
He was one of my first follows where I didn’t know who he was, but really enjoyed watching his stories.

Recently, Casey celebrated his 34th birthday by announcing his new project of a video VLOG every day. Being a fan of his Snapchat stories, I was excited to start this journey with him.
And so far, I have been a big fan of his daily video blogs.

Casey has a way of telling stories, making his daily life seem interesting, and capturing beautiful footage all in a daily video.
Give it a watch. It is worth 10 minutes of your day.

2. Pomodoro

I’ve covered this amazing tool in my Morning Routine Post.

Pomodoro is a great app that I use all the time. Best part, it is free.
This app helps me get things done and keep on task. You set the timer, go to work, and wait for the timer to ring. And did I mention, it’s free!

3. Marian Hill

Her music has been a fresh of breathe air (or sound waves) lately. I have thoroughly enjoyed her music and have added her music to all my hang time/party playlist. You should too!
Get it on iTunes here.

I love finding new music.
And I love sharing that new music with you.

I regularly update these two areas with new music.
Let’s discover some new music together.

I still remember setting my que of music for download to run through the night on my 56K connection hoping that 3 out of the 10 downloads would work. Did you do the same?

Napster truly did revolutionize and destroy the music industry. I cannot wait to see this film

A new documentary on the rise and fall of Napster, the peer-to-peer file-sharing service that revolutionized the music industry, is set to debut at South by SouthwestDownloaded will have its world premiere on March 10

I have featured Bellarive on Music Tuesday before. But they are so good I want to share them again with you. Bellarive has released their latest work The Heartbeat and I think it should keep you nice and cozy this fine Tuesday morning and into the afternoon. So do yourself a favor and hit play and enjoy.

Ladies and Gentlemen…Bellarive

Visit their website here
Follow them on twitter here

Ascend the Hill has been featured on Music Tuesday before (found here). They are one of my favorite bands simply because their music features a passion of love, grace and spirit that other music does not have.

Their latest album, Ransomed Son came out a couple of months ago and it has been on repeat in my ears for a while. I love this album so much I bought it off of iTunes. The last time I bought an album besides this one was a year ago. In my mind it is that good.

I think you will enjoy this Music Tuesday featuring Ascend the Hill.
