Forced Coolness

We all know the people that try way to hard to be cool.
It’s either a parent or that guy in high school that had on so much cologne that your eyes would burn.

Well, Windows has become that to cool for school wannabe
and they continue to up their effort in making you like them.
Listen Windows 7 people, we know that you want to be like mac, we understand that. But you missed that train a long time ago. I mean seriously you are from Seattle, home of coffee, you can come up with something creative. Don’t you have a bunch of free time on your hands because it rains all the time? Oh ya, your operating system tends to have a lot of problems which means that you do not put a whole lot of thought into your marketing. I understand.

  • Alright...I'll have to admit I am pretty upset at the recent choices Microsoft has made...I am a PC guy and will be for as long as I can stand it. Mac hasn't won me over yet but it's getting closer with every step of the way Microsoft does something like this. I am going to hold out running Windows XP as long as possible but I fear once XP's time has expired it might be time for the move into the light.

    I used to be an avid Apple hatter, but times are changing. I own an iPhone and while I love it dearly, there are still numerous things that bug me about it. Sadly I am slow to accept change.

  • If this was an apple store doing this people would be commenting on how brilliant it was. Mac is a great product that costs too much and as such will always hover at it's slim market share (it's around 10% right now). Honestly though, I've grown up with a PC, know how to fix a PC, never have virus problems because I run free and easy to use virus protection, and save myself money by doing it. Windows 7 is actually a very good OS (more of a service pack really, similar to Snow Leopard in that sense), I'd invite you to give it a try if you have not. I have no reason to switch to a Mac unless I magically come into money that I feel the need to spend or if I end up going into a career that demands I have one.
  • Well I can tell you know, if this would happen (and it would never happen) I would say the exact same thing. I think it is worth the price you pay for the computer. But I understand that you are very familiar with PC and know a lot about them.
  • That one is an improvement on the launch party video they put out a few months ago. That was truly awful.
