Garage Sale Rules

I have been known to frequent garage sales and the salvation army. I cannot pass up discovering great “stuff.” The opportunity presented itself to me today in the form of my neighbors driveway. This is the view from my porch this morning. Right across the street, was a rather large gathering of “treasures” that needed to be discovered. As I put my garage sale fanny pack on, a thought hit me,
what is the rule on going to your neighbors garage sale?

Is it like a commandment, thou shall not covet thy neighbors possessions or attend their garage sale? Or is it more like one mans junk is another mans treasure no matter how close they live to each other? I am not going to lie, my entertainment center is from my neighbor. They put it out in the trash and I took advantage of the situation.

Answer me this:
What is the line on going to a huge yard sale that your neighbor is having?

This is a huge moral question that I need answered.
