Is Reading Worth It?

Kyle Reed // @kylereed

I read a lot of books.
It used to be that when I read one book it was a big accomplishment.
Now it is an accomplishment when I can read a book and remember 25% of what I read.
Often times I feel like it is a huge waste of time to read something that you are going to forget.
I thought I’d throw this question out to the masses and see how you read.

Questions to consider:
Do you take your time and read for clarity and comprehension?
Do you read for enjoyment and don’t really care if you remember what you read?
How do you remember and understand each book you read?

Is it worth reading if you can’t remember what you read?

nothing is worth doing if there is no value. Including reading. Waste management.
