Leaders Under 30-Scott Clayton

Kyle Reed // @kylereed

Not only will there be video interviews of Leader Under 30, there will be profiles of what leaders under 30 are doing throughout the United States.
Check out one of my friends in KC, Scott Clayton.

Scott is a graduate of Lindenwood University, with a degree in Christian Ministries.  He’s originally from the St. Louis area, where he was a part of two different church plants.  Scott is the creative arts pastor at Life Connection Church in Kansas City.

One of the biggest ways I have seen Scott lead over the last year is through his twitter stream. He is making a difference in his community in KC, but he is also lifting up the needs of his friends in social media by offering up prayers, asking others if they need prayer, and helping people find jobs.

Question from Scott about Leadership:
Whats the best way to multiply and retain volunteers is?

Check out Scott on twitter or leave him a comment below.

    Hey Kyle-
Your bio is hilarious!!! Love how original you are and the time you spend in your parents basement working on your “about me” is working!
This phrase is overused but I literally “laughed out loud” at your brave disclosure that your worry about us all being connected some day keeps you up at night…well you just made one girl feel mighty normal, mister!
    Glad to find you!

Good to hear…it is nice to hear some positive feedback for all of that, because friends like to give me a hard time about that.
Thanks for stopping in Stephanie, looking forward to chatting more with you.
This week is big on the blog, featuring leaders under 30. Good time for you to find the blog and take part.

Always awesome to learn about new leaders—but this is especially awesome because we're from neighboring churches. I'm on Creative/Communications staff at Westside Family Church in Lenexa/Olathe/Kansas City. So, not too terribly far from you guys. I'll definitely need to start following you guys and see what you're up to in KC.

Thanks Crystal! We've visited Westside a couple times. I'd love to connect and learn from you guys!
