Music Tuesday: Eisley

Kyle Reed // @kylereed

Sometimes, when I become obsessed with a CD, I listen to it 2 or 3 times a day for about 3 weeks. I have a problem. I did that with Future of Forestry’s Travel EP’s and Hillsong United’s Aftermath. Well I have a new obsession in my life, and that is the beautiful tones of a band named Eisley.

I have always heard about Eisley but for some reason never gave them a listen. Probably because I was lazy, but it took prodding from my friend Zack Moody to check out their new stuff and man was I blown away. From the first track until the end I was captivated by their sound, voices, and way of making music that has emotion.

Oh man do I love Eisley. And I think you will as well.

Stop everything and listen to this right now while you work.

Listening now…digging it so far. I’ve only heard a couple of Eisley songs in the past. Used to listen to the song “Marvelous Things” constantly, but never dove in much further than that. Thanks for the rec!

Love their melodies. On first listen, the song ‘Sad’ really sticks out to me. Definitely gonna give the album another listen or two, but may be purchasing this one!

love this band and album… great unique sound. though I’ve found it’s really easy to overplay them. don’t entirely know why, though i suppose it’s because they are so unique.

Her voice has a very Leigh Nash kind of sound. Rose said to tell you she likes it too :)

Yeah digging it man. I’ve known of them, but never really gave them a listen. I concur, great sound.
