Rob Bell is the man. That is all I have to say. I have just discovered these woderful videos that I have heard everyone talking about. I just sat down and watched my first one. It was called Sunday-004. Even though the thoughts were simple they were so well put together and well constructed. One thing that I like to read or hear is a well put together presentation. I envy people who can write and speak with clarity. I wish I had a 10th of their God given abilities. These videos are definitly something that are well written and well put together. I am looking forward to the next video that I am going to watch, it is called dust-004.

Actually Kyle, just to correct you, true worship can involve no “worship band” at all. Instead, an organ must be the only accompaniment to singing in Church.

do you remember when kimme’s youth pastor spoke at CHS about how the disciples were probably just teenagers, and how they weren’t the “cream of the crop” in jewish bible school. well, watch the “dust” nooma. see if you see any similarites. i guess they’re allright. not that there’s anything necessarily bad about them, i’ve just never been struck by rob bell. just my personal taste. i recommend ravi zacharias.

I just watched the dust video, I liked it a lot. Ravi is good. There is just something about Rob Bell that I like.

she just said hi. it’s not like she confessed her never-ending undying love for me or anything. i listened to one of tyler’s podcasts at work yesterday. it was pretty good. entertaining, to say the least.

I came across your blog because of a search for Nooma (yes, they are some amazing videos). But instead of talking more about the effectiveness of Nooma, I instead feel more compelled to say, “Huh?” I haven’t read any of Andrew Stout’s stuff, but where does a statement like his come from? Since when are organs the holiest of instruments? If anything, I would think the voice–the instrument God gave us directly–or the lyre–the instrument that King David played–would be considered before the organ. But throughout the Bible, many other instruments are played, trumpets for one. Personally, I prefer the more contemporary sounds from worship bands and artists such as Delirious and Switchfoot. So why pick the grinding, flat sounds coming from an organ?

[embarrassment] Okay, I overreacted. Ends up Andrew was pulling a funny. Serves me right for barging in on a comment without knowing the context.
