Question(s) for You

Kyle Reed // @kylereed

Sunday provides us a day to relax, reflect, and refuel. On Sunday’s I like to sit back and ask a couple of questions. Maybe it sounds a little like those awkward games you play with people you do not know so that you can get to know each other better.
Lets just call it Question(s) for You.

You can answer them all or just one

1) What was your favorite television show growing up?

2) Today I am celebrating mothers day by _________ ?

3) Would you rather be able to stop time while you sleep or never have to do laundry again?

Answer them all or just one….these are questions for you.

    1) Full House
    2) Cooking dinner for my mother and providing her a day of rest and silence.
    3) Stop Time while sleeping. Laundry is not that bad, but losing productivity while sleeping is a waste.

  • Mark Blake

    1. Family Matters!

    2. A beautiful bouquet of flowers and a heartwarming handwritten card.

    3. I would have to go with no laundry ONLY because I think I would go insane if I could stop time while sleeping and then have so much time on my hands. And I like getting up with the sunrise.

    • Kyle Reed

Family Matters was great. That was second for me. I was very close to putting that down. I just remember watching TGIF and loving family matters and full house.

  • David

    1) A Country Practice (Australian drama series)
    2) The final piece of mail I sent from Australia before we moved here to N.Ireland was a Mother’s Day card. When I last saw my mum in April, we had dinner together and I paid (she normally insists)
    3) No laundry. Unless the ability to stop time while sleeping was on demand (ie: you could stop it when you wanted to)

    • Kyle Reed

You are a planner it sounds like, love that you thought ahead. Even if you are moving to a new territory in N. Ireland you still thought about your mom, perfect.

  • Jensa

    1) A lot of different things. Thunder Cats. Knight Rider. (I still remember the episode when KITT loses his memory.

    2) Today I am celebrating mothers day by taking out a woman that is born in the same year as my mom, since my mother is too far away for me to buy her brunch (I did call her though.) This has happened already.

    3) Laundry. I like that time passes when I sleep. Besides, who wants to mess with the time/space continuum? Hasn’t anyone seen Back to the Future? It would be awful if you went to sleep at midnight and when you woke up it was still midnight.

    • Kyle Reed

I never heard of thunder cats, remember knight rider, but never watched. And I love the way you celebrated mothers day. Beautiful way to do that.

      • Jensa

Haha… this means I am dating myself. (And yourself, maybe.) Thundercats were great. (Well, according to the show, they were ‘on the loose.’) They were a little before Full House came around, but not too much before that. Saved by the Bell? (Old school.)

  • Kelsey

    1. Full House
    2. All of us kids treat her like a queen and do whatever she wants us to! Which usually means chores :-) But also spending the day with her, with much appreciation and hugs, and making lunch or dinner.
    3. I’d have to go with laundry. Sometimes I like being able to pass the time with sleep.

    • Kyle Reed

Your mothers day sounds a lot like my mothers day.
      Its worth it though

  • Shelby

    1. Clifford
    2. I got my grandma flowers :)
    3. Stop time while i sleep

    • Kyle Reed

I do not think I ever watched clifford.

  • Tom

    1. Doug
    2. Doing nothing – we actually took her and my dad out to dinner last night ;)
    3. Stop time while I sleep.

    • Kyle Reed

You would say Doug… but I always watched Doug on Saturday morning, him and skeeter were great.

  • Matthew Erxleben

    1) Fresh Prince
    2) Driving half way home to meet mom for lunch
    3) Stop time while sleeping

    • Kyle Reed

Oh ya, fresh prince was a classic.

  • Tyler

    1. Boy Meets World
    2. Homemade pizza with my mom and family at my place.
    3. Stop time while sleeping, mostly cause I never do laundry anymore in the first place.

    • Kyle Reed

I forgot about Boy Meets World.
That show was awesome. I always wished I was friends with Corey and Shaun.

  • Kelly@Tabithas-Team

TV – can’t remember a “favorite” but the ones I remember watching every week were Growing Pains, Family Ties, and if you go back to elementary years it was LaVergne & Shirley or Happy Days. Somewhere in between that Dukes of Hazzard was the hot topic on the school bus, kind of like American Idol today.

Mothers Day – I relaxed all day and listened to my ipod while my son did the laundry and my daughter fixed me lunch. Then my husband actually sat through watching Wuthering Heights with me. Great day.

No contest – get rid of the laundry.

    • Kyle Reed

Wow, that sounds like a great Mothers day. A lot like what we did for my mom. We even watched a “crying” movie with her. it was torture for me and my dad, but she loved it.

  • Shellie (baylormum)

OK. Time for an older voice!

    1. Bewitched & Family Affair!

    2. Went for a ride through a canyon we hadn’t been through yet. Then lunch at one of those places that could qualify for Diners, Drive-ins, & Dives.

    3. No laundry. But, that’s a lot of underwear!

  • Adriana Féliz

    1. Felicity… all time favorite .
    2. Mothers day is the last Sunday of May in the DR.
    3. Stop time while I sleep (I already don’t do laundry. =D )

  • Bruce

Wow, that sounds like a great Mothers day. A lot like what we did for my mom. We even watched a “crying” movie with her. it was torture for me and my dad, but she loved it.

    • Kyle Reed

Yes, crying movies are not made for the male mind… Well at least not for me.
