Question(s) for You

Kyle Reed // @kylereed

Sunday provides us a day to relax, reflect, and refuel. On Sunday’s I like to sit back and ask a couple of questions. Maybe it sounds a little like those awkward games you play with people you do not know so that you can get to know each other better.
Lets just call it Question(s) for You.

You can answer them all or just one

1) Are you watching the World Cup? How much?

2) What is one movie that you stop and watch every time it is on television?

3) Would you rather have 115 degree heat and no humidity or 85 degrees and 85% humidity?

Answer them all or just one….these are questions for you.

    1. As many as I can, however I am a bit miffed that USA games on are delayed and you have to pay to upgrade on the Iphone.

    2. Shawshank Redemption. Hands down. Every time. “Get Busy living” :)

    3. By choice: 85 heat and 85 humidity. By marriage: 115. :) Viva Las Vegas!

    • Kyle Reed

I love the 115 by marriage. I actually liked the vegas heat.
And yes, Shawshank is another one that stops me from doing anything and watch.

BTW: watching Centrals live feed right now, pretty cool. You need a live feed into the bookstore :)

1 – No World Cup…can’t get into soccer.

2 – I’ll give you 2…The Godfather (even though I have the DVD set) and Roadhouse (don’t tell anyone about that one).

3 – I’ll take 85 with 85 humidity. A dry heat, much like my oven, is still HOT. Living in the ATL, and having worked in Phoenix in July, I prefer the humidity.

    • Kyle Reed

you know I have never seen Godfather or Roadhouse.
I guess I need to check them out.

  • Kyle Reed

    1) I plan on waking up every morning at 6 to watch. I made it through every match the last world cup up until about the half way mark, then I got a job and couldn’t watch anymore.

    2) Catch me if you can

    3) I guess I will have to take the midwest humidity, but not by choice. Its brutal.

    1) I’m only watching the games I’m interested in! (and I’m supporting Bafana Bafana – the boys of South Africa!!!)

    2) Hmm…don’t know. I don’t often watch TV unless it’s a programme I regularly watch. Maybe Cool Runnings (some people say you know we can’t believe…Jamaica we have a bobsleigh team! Classic)

    3) Hang on…need the temp converter widget…um…85 F! Wow. That would be amazing. It happened once in 2006 in North East Scotland and that made the papers…I’m not kidding. So I can’t really imagine 112 F!

    • Kyle Reed

you going from Celsius I assume?

And cool runnings is a classic for sure

      • Laura Anne

Yep! 29.5 C was a recording breaking day in Aberdeen, Scotland in 2006 and that’s about 86 F!

  • Jordan Wiseman

    1) Haven’t watched any yet. Although, I have a friend that lives in South Africa and attended a few.

    2) Any Pixar film, hands down. :)

    3) 115. Humidity = blah.

    • Kyle Reed

I wish I was in South Africa right now.

    • Jason

Good call with the 115 heat. All these people wanting 85% humidity are talkin crazy!

  • Chelsea C

    1. Yes, this is actually the first year I’ve watched it. So far I’ve only watched the USA game but I hope to watch more.
    2. Maybe Elf or the Count of Monte Cristo.
    3. Probably 85 with 85% humidity only because I’m used to it. I’ve lived in the Midwest my whole life.

    • Kyle Reed

I have never seen Count of Monte Cristo, but I need to for sure

      • Chelsea C

Absolutely! The Count of Monte Cristo is an excellent movie.

  • Blake Mankin

I never considered myself a soccer fan, but the World Cup is igniting the flame. Love it.

    • Kyle Reed

That is what it is all about. I consider the world cup like the olympics. you don’t want downhill skiing all the time, just every four years.

  • Shelby

    1. None at all
    2. umm Wizard of Oz… and really any chick flick.
    3. prolly 85 with humidity I’m used to it even if it makes my hair about 20 times bigger

    • Kyle Reed

Wizard of Oz huh? I don’t think I have seen that one on TV in a long time.

      • Shelby

Very rare occasion… luckily i own it and can watch it anytime I want :D

  • Jason

    1. World Cup – nope, nope, nope. I’m not much of a sports watcher at all really.

    2. Movie I’d stop and watch on TV….donno. I don’t watch much TV/Movies really.

    3. Umm… 115 heat for sure. Humidity is yuck!

  • Anna (@ampersand86)

    1) Neg. I’ve been keeping up with the scores, though.

    2) Father of the Bride and ABC Family’s almost weekly Harry Potter marathons.

    3) 85/85. I don’t mind the humidity — HATE the heat!
