On Sundays I like to enjoy some sabbath and thinking.
So today you control the blog.

Here are some questions for you.

  • 1. In laws are in town from out of state for a couple weeks including Thanksgiving. Plan to be with my family, eat a lot, play video games, watch football.

    2. Telling me that his plan is greater than my own.
  • Its like you are a grown up now or something like that.
You have a house and now you are hosting Thanksgiving.

And I am with you on number two. Absurd to think that God has a bigger plan then you, I struggle with this all the time.
  • 1. we celebrated thanksgiving last week in mexico with our family...so this week we're celebrating with some friends... weird that it turned out this way this year, but it'll be fun.

    2. listen and be ready.
  • That is really interesting actually. Interesting that you celebrated in Mexico, that would be a new experience.

And I think God is always telling me this, for some reason I usually miss it. Probably because I was talking.

    Thanks for stopping in

  • 1. I am pretty excited for Thanksgiving this week. Usually I have some family come into town and we either eat and hang out at my parents house or grandpa's house. But this year we are celebrating thanksgiving at my new house. So this will be the first holiday we get to host. Should be very nice too because I have a big dinning room table that the entire family will fit around.

    2. In light of thanksgiving God has been continually been reminding me to be thankful for the little things during my days. It's easy I think to thank God for the big things that go right in life, but I have been reminded that the little not so perfect things we need to be thankful for as well.
  • That is pretty cool that you get to host your family and you have space to do that. Probably a pretty exciting thing for you and your wife.

It reminds me of the initiative to stop complaining and start being thankful for what we have.
    Good reminder.

This Thanksgiving my brother and his family, my sister, her 3 girls and her granddaughter my kids and my mom are all hanging out at moms... We havent all been together in 10 years, so this one is special...

God Keeps telling me to give it to him! Sometimes I think I can handle it all, but I know that true happines will come if I just give it all to Him!!!
  • 1. My family is coming to Kentucky!...Callie gets to meet her aunts and uncles :)
    2. Soak in this season of life and be an encouragement and example to those around me in all areas of my life...I'm learning alot about discipleship right now.
