Question(s) for You

Sunday provides us a day to relax, reflect, and refuel. On Sunday’s I like to sit back and ask a couple of questions. Maybe it sounds a little like those awkward games you play with people you do not know so that you can get to know each other better.
Lets just call it Question(s) for You.

You can answer them all or just one

1) Are you a set the fireworks off or watch the fireworks type of person?

2) What is your favorite holiday?

3) If we were to go into Starbucks together, what would you order?

Answer them all or just one….these are questions for you.

    1. I used to enjoy setting them off, but now, I’d rather watch.

    2. Christmas. Absolute fave.

    3. If it’s hot out, I would get something cold and very sweet, like the java chip something or other. It’s cold and has bits of chocolate chips in it and whipped cream and chocolate sauce.

If it’s chilly out, I prefer something hot and very sweet. Tom usually picks something he knows I’ll like. And by usually, I mean on the occasions we actually go to starbucks. Clearly I don’t even know the names of what I like there unless I see it on the menu.

Thanks for giving me something to do while everyone else is sleeping the morning away! =)

No problem. Christmas is a good time thats for sure

    1. Both. My parents live in the country and my dad always gets the crazy fireworks, sets up cinder blocks in the field, and I set off fireworks with my brothers and dad. But I also like to just watch them too.
    2. I guess Christmas because I get to spend a lot of time with family. I have four siblings and it’s hard to get the whole family together. At Christmas we’re all there playing poker, ping pong, and other fun events together.
    3. I haven’t gained the addiction to coffee so I usually get a green tea latte when I go…I know that’s probably lame to a coffee drinker but I haven’t found anything with coffee that I like.

    • http://thoughtsaboutnothing.com Kyle Reed

I personally cannot do the green tea or any tea for that matter. But I wish I could.

    1. I still like setting them off better. If I’m going to go watch fireworks they need to be pretty dang good. I watched the Indianapolis fireworks last night. They were very cool – shot from the top of one of the city’s largest building.

    2. Christmas all the way. All the family makes it a priority to get together for Xmas whereas the other holidays are hit and miss. Also presents. And snow. And Xmas music.

    3. Kyle, if you and I got to go to Sbucks, I would buy myself a white chocolate mocha and then buy you whatever you’d like. And then we could play speed chess.

Your so nice. I actually would rather you make me some coffee at your house or Dunkin Donuts coffee.

    1. I’m perfectly content to sit back and watch fireworks, although I’d be lying if I said I didn’t like to blow stuff up. :)

    2. Favorite holiday is definitely Christmas. There is a peace that falls in air. It makes me long for family and appreciate them more.

    3. Grande Non-fat, no whip, no foam, White Mocha at 180 degrees. I can rattle that off in less than 2 seconds flat.

    • http://thoughtsaboutnothing.com Kyle Reed

Ummmm, wow that was truly impressive. I guess you know exactly what you want.

        Caffeine takes no prisoners! LOL

    1. I used to be really in to setting them off with my dad and brother when I was younger, but now I’d rather just watch others set them off. Maybe that has to do with the fact that we used to set off small fireworks, and now they are doing things like bottle rockets and mortars.

    2. The holiday is a hard one. Obviously Christmas is great, and means the most to me, but I often enjoy Thanksgiving more. It is less stressful and there are fewer expectations of everyone so it’s easier to be thankful and enjoy each others company.

    3. Definitely cold. I rotate between a caramel frappicino, iced caramel macchiato, and iced white mocha.

So I guess you do not like black friday then?

  • http://megaugustine.com Meg

    1. definitely a ‘watch the fireworks’ type of person
    2. halloween! i love it. i throw a big party every year (costumes required of course). and i bake a double layered cake and make the icing look like a spiderweb. it’s just a fun holiday!
    3. hot chocolate. or a chocolate chip cookie. i don’t drink coffee. i’m boring like that :)

    • http://thoughtsaboutnothing.com Kyle Reed

You are boring like that :)
Thats fair enough though. I never did get into halloween, but that cake sounds awesome.

  • Kristina Davis

1- Definitely watch. I have an aversion to fire.
2- Probably 4th of July. Its awesome enough to get off work but not awesome enough that you have to spend the whole day with your family.
3- Grande Iced White Chocolate Mocha with and extra shot, no whip.

    • http://thoughtsaboutnothing.com Kyle Reed

I guess that makes July 4th awesome, I think.

  • http://twitter.com/shelbyisrad Shelby

    1. I like both, watching and setting off. i just love fireworks in general.
    2. I like Christmas a lot, but 4th of July is prolly my favorite, my town has a huge 4th of july festival and everything so much fun.
    3. Java Chip frappacino yummmm

  • http://acalledlife.blogspot.com/ Mindy

    1. I enjoy watching although I haven’t really done even that over the last couple years.
    2. Christmas…love the energy, the expectancy, the food & fellowship, the music
    3. Tall extra-hot skinny vanilla latte…I almost always get this. Only when it’s blazing outside do I forego the “extra hot” part and get regular hot. On the rare day I get a cold drink.
