Sunday provides us a day to relax, reflect, and refuel. On Sunday’s I like to sit back and ask a couple of questions. Maybe it sounds a little like those awkward games you play with people you do not know so that you can get to know each other better.
Lets just call it Question(s) for You.

You can answer them all or just one

1) What is one thing you are looking forward to the most come the fall season?

2) What is your favorite gem of the Internet? Resource, website, blog, etc…?

3) With kids headed back to school, do you miss being in school or do you never want to return?

Answer them all or just one….these are questions for you.

I don’t desire school. Only education. Call me “late to the game,” but I just found a gem in lifehacker.com

Fall. I like the forward thinking of fall.

    • http://thoughtsaboutnothing.com Kyle Reed

Lifehacker.com is pretty cool. Your not late to the game at all.
And yes, education is the key way to look at it.

!) Cooler weather (its been almost 110 in dallas and I LOVE wearing warm clothing) and the leaves changing. Orange trees are my favorite. Mmmm at hot coffee. I love hot coffee.

    2) My brother-in-law recently introduced me to Ted.org. It’s like NPR or PBS youtube style. Its pretty cool because i can entertain my nerdy self on just about any subject or conversation subject.

    3) Im still in school. College FTW. Im kind of dreading it because im taking a science, and i kind of hate science. But, im getting closer to where i need to be so that makes me happy. And like the kids i still worry sbout what i need to wear on the first day. :)

    • http://thoughtsaboutnothing.com Kyle Reed

I love Ted Talks. The best.

    1. Looking forward to finding a new job. Newness and change excite me.

    2. If the Internet only consisted of twitter, I’d be happy.

    3. I loved high school. All of my best friends are high school friends.

    • http://thoughtsaboutnothing.com Kyle Reed

Newness is the best. I am with you.
And yes, if twitter was all we had things would be okay, well except we would have nothing to share.

  • http://tom@8bit.io Tom

    1) Cooler weather.
    2) Can’t pick just one. The entire thing is a gem. Without it, I’d have a drastically different career and hobby..

    • http://thoughtsaboutnothing.com Kyle Reed

true that, you are the master

    1) What is one thing you are looking forward to the most come the fall season? The default answer is: ALABAMA FOOTBALL. Roll tide! I’m also excited about Word Camp next month, a writer’s convention in October and then my first Advent season at my new place of business (a big, friendly, well-established UMC).

    2) What is your favorite gem of the Internet? Resource, website, blog, etc…? Facebook. HA! just kiddiiiiiing. biblegateway.com has been a great resource for homework and stuff, especially with all the different commentaries and translations they have available. Sojourners has also been a great resource for social justice.

    3) With kids headed back to school, do you miss being in school or do you never want to return? I’m in school now — going to graduate in May. I’m so ready to be finished! So much so that I’m probably going to put off getting my masters for a few years.

    • http://thoughtsaboutnothing.com Kyle Reed

Alabama is lame…I kid I kid
      Word Camp sounds pretty cool.

    1) fall seems to bring routine to my life…i look forward be more scheduled.
    2) ravelry.com! haha!
    3) i’m actually wanting to return to school! i’m too late for this semester…so hopefully i’ll start in the spring!

    • http://thoughtsaboutnothing.com Kyle Reed

I have never heard of ravelry.com what is it?

      • http://cbraden7.blogspot.com/ Casey

has a bunch of free knitting/crochet patterns! :)

  • http://www.unfetteredbloke.com Nathan Duvall

    1) Football! Specifically watching my Colts & Tennessee Vols (the latter of which I already know is going to suck it up). Also looking forward to cooler weather – it’s been a long, hot, humid summer in SC this year.

    2) Resource sites that I can use for ministry. Places like 8bit, the church marketing lab on Flickr, CreativeMYK…

    3) I hated school, absolutely hated it. I like the social aspects of it, but hated being in class.

    • http://thoughtsaboutnothing.com Kyle Reed

CreativeMYK is a great great website.

  • http://www.prudychick.com Prudence

Looking forward most to cooler weather, and hot lattes.

    • http://thoughtsaboutnothing.com Kyle Reed

That is the best time of the year right there

    1) What is one thing you are looking forward to the most come the fall season?
The changing of leaves and cooler weather…and football. :)

    3) With kids headed back to school, do you miss being in school or do you never want to return?
I am a teacher so I go through the school process each year and I’m in grad school right now, but this is the last fall for grad school so next year it will be nice not to have to have school and just teach school.

    • http://thoughtsaboutnothing.com Kyle Reed

Double duty on the whole school thing huh?
      doesn’t sound fun

      • http://kugirl84.wordpress.com/ Chelsea C

Yeah it’s not much fun. I can’t remember a time when I’ve been so busy but it’s good for me to finish it now while I’m single. It will be nice when it’s finished though! I’ve had enough school to last me a lifetime. :)

    1. The month of October. Best sports month on the calender.

    2. I know this guy named Kyle, he has a sweet blog.

    3. I’m one of those kids going back to school. Can hardly believe it is a week away…yikes.

    • http://thoughtsaboutnothing.com Kyle Reed

That guy Kyle is an interesting cat.

You are one of those kids, but once you are done you will be better off then the other kids that are not in school. Its like when we were in high school and some took advanced classes and others did not. I was the other that did not and made fun of the ones that did. But yet at the end I wish I would have. So you are all good my friend.

Oh, and there is this guy named tyler that has some pretty good stuff as well.

  • http://thoughtsaboutnothing.com Kyle Reed

    1) Cannot wait to wear my members only jackets and sit around a fire place with friends.
    2) I think Drudgereport.com is the absolute best. And my new favorite is the99percent.com great site as well
    3) Its a love hate relationship for me. I want the discussion and learning, but I have a hard time going to class and homework. But I will go back sometime soon.

  • http://www.philz-corner.com Phil

    1) I’ll be glad to have cooler weather, its been so hot here in Quebec so a little bit of windy weather wouldnt harm me!

    2) Twitter, because I can find very interesting stuff on there by following very interesting people! =]

    3) When I was a child I never liked school for many different reasons, one would be my disability I did not have many friends back then. So, yep, I dont miss school.

    • http://thoughtsaboutnothing.com Kyle Reed

I guess you are ready for it to get real cold in Quebec.
I like mid 60’s, but I have a feeling that wont last very long.

      And yes, twitter is awesome
