The wedding version.
Yes this is the wedding version of Question(s) for You.

I got to attend the wedding of one of my dear friends Adam G Everett over the weekend and had some questions that arose whilst wedding it up.

Okay, let’s get some wedding questions happening

1) Do you/Have you cried at a wedding?

2) Do you dance at weddings? If so, are you a cha cha slide dancer (your so bad you need instructions) a slow dance dancer (in other words, an old person) or from the start to the end dancer who everyone is wondering how many drinks you have had?
3) Favorite part of a wedding is…?

Answer them all or just one….these are Questions for You.

    1) I have never cried at a wedding, but when my sisters get married I will be a basket case.

    2) Definitely need instructions. I am as white as they come. I wish I could dance but have used up all my rhythm when playing the drums.

    3) my favorite part is when the couple takes communion together (well most couple, if they don’t then whatever that minute they have together, just them reflecting together). It’s beautiful to see the couple standing there, everyone looking and yet the couple feels like they are alone, that it is just them and God. Together taking communion for the first time, praying together as a married couple. Beautiful.

    1. Yes, while shooting the video too.
    2. Find that while shooting the video, I move to the cha cha slide.
    3. Again, as the video guy at the wedding, my favorite is the time between ceremony and reception.

    Not working the wedding
    1. No
    2. Cha cha slide and a few fast songs
    3. As they are walking out of ceremony

    • Kyle Reed

wow, that is good stuff. You even get teared up while shooting. That is when you know you are really investing in your work :)

    1. It seems like I only cry if I am in the wedding party!
    2. I love to dance…not the best dancer, but I like to have fun.
    3. My favorite part is when the couple say their vows to each other :)

Your husband is one of the best dancers I have seen. And I seem to remember someone at your wedding balling his eyes out, and he was a groomsman.

  • Tom

    1) Yep – my own.
    2) Yeah, but I’m a total white boy.
    3) The reception

    • Kyle Reed

I think everyone cries at their wedding. I am not a crier at all, but I think I will. At least I hope so, if not I will look like an insensitive jerk.

I’ve only been to two weddings in my whole life The first when I was younger and the second last year
    1. First one no, second one ohyes
    2. I LOOOVE Dancing i danced all night at the first i went to, they didn’t have dancing at the one i went to last year (i know. crazy)
    3. When the bride and groom see each other for the first time! And when they turn around after the kiss they always have HUGE smiles. LOVE IT.

    • Kyle Reed

only 2 weddings? Well you will have a lot more to go to once you get out of school, trust me.

It feels like I’m a wedding professional these days.
    Baby showers next, right?

    Yes, I cry at weddings.
Yes, I get my groove on at weddings. Shamelessly.
I love the vows and of course, getting the groove on. :)

    • Kyle Reed

well i wouldn’t know anything about baby showers, I never get invited. But I am with you, i attend a lot of weddings.

  • Katey

    1)Yes, I cry at weddings.
2)The last wedding I went to they didn’t have dancing. I was very disappointed. Yes, I do like dancing at weddings if they have it.
    3) When the couple gets introduced for the first time at the end of the ceremony.

    • Kyle Reed

ya that is a cool moment as well. When they turned around and they are smiling from ear to ear.

1 – I cried at the last wedding I was at. This young couple had been together all through college. They’d created a purity covenant and upheld it. They’d scheduled a wedding once and seen it destroyed by one set of parents, and still tried to nurture peace and understanding instead of just running off and getting married. When the moment finally came for the bride to walk down the isle no one who knew what these two had been through wasn’t crying.

    2 – Not a dancer. And you’re welcome.

3 – My favorite part is when the bride shows up. Dressed in white. Totally beaming. The princess that every little girl wants to be at her wedding. And the groom is usually overjoyed at the other end of the isle, totally happy with no one’s attention because everyone is admiring his bride.

I think of Jesus every time. The Church in much of the world is a mess right now, but He’s preparing her. And someday He’ll come back and stand in the sky and watch overjoyed as His perfect bride goes to meet Him.
