Sunday provides us a day to relax, reflect, and refuel. On Sunday’s I like to sit back and ask a couple of questions. Maybe it sounds a little like those awkward games you play with people you do not know so that you can get to know each other better.
Lets just call it Question(s) for You.

You can answer them all or just one

1) Your new favorite fall television show?

2) I have spent more time ___________ but wish I could spend more time _______?

3) Currently I am reading ___________?

Answer them all or just one….these are questions for you.

    1. Detroit 187 – A very good show built around the strength of Michael Imperioli. He’s a great actor.

    2. I have spent more time in IT, but I wish I could spend more time taking photographs.

    3. I am reading ‘Radical’ by Davit Platt and reading again, ‘Crazy Love’ by Francis Chan as we are doing the ‘Crazy Love’ small group study.

Radical is an awesome book, I recommend it to pretty much every christian, especially in America.

      3. I’m reading Outliers and, incidentally, the Call of the Wild. Fiction is the bomb, and you can get free old audiobooks read by random people on the internet. Just finished the Tipping Point, Good to Great, 1/2 of Blink. On a Gladwell kick :)

Tipping Point and Outliers are two of my favorite books. I love Malcom Gladwell.

    1. A lot of the drama series haven’t come back onto our screens yet, so I haven’t really been watching TV. I have been watching some comedy stand up and satire stuff on BBC iPlayer.

    2. I have spent a lot of time just trying to work up the energy to do stuff, but not actually managing to do it all. I’m not sure if I just can’t or if it is a lack of discipline!

    3. The Bible in One Year (Sept-Aug). I finally finished all the Job readings last night, and that was cause for celebration!! I have a stack of books I need to get started on for my discipleship/theology course…

    • http://thoughtsaboutnothing.com Kyle Reed

Job is a long book, good, but long filled with suffering and sadness. I bet you are glad you finished it

    1. We’re also watching The Event. I hope it gets better, because all I notice is the stuff they’ve ripped off of 24 and Lost.

    2. I have spent way too much time on a complicated work project (4+ months). I wish I could spend more time designing and developing WordPress sites.

    3. I’m halfway through Life with God by Richard Foster.

    • http://thoughtsaboutnothing.com Kyle Reed

Haven’t heard of that one by Foster, but it sounds good.
And ya, the event started out awesome, but am a little worried it will turn into a show like flashforward.

    1) Hawaii Five-0

    2) a. Watching TV, b. exercising

    3) The Memory Keeper’s Daughter & Radical.

    • http://thoughtsaboutnothing.com Kyle Reed

I heard Hawaii Five-0 was terrible. I guess not.

      • http://www.PrudyChick.com Prudence

I like it, but that’s just me.

The subtitle of the Foster book is “Reading the Bible for Spiritual Transformation”. The ISTJ in me appreciates the practical stuff in Foster’s books.
