Question(s) for You

Kyle Reed // @kylereed

Sunday provides us a day to relax, reflect, and refuel. On Sunday’s I like to sit back and ask a couple of questions. Maybe it sounds a little like those awkward games you play with people you do not know so that you can get to know each other better.
Lets just call it Question(s) for You.

You can answer them all or just one

1) Did you go shopping on Black Friday? If so, what was your best deal?

2) Turkey or Ham?

3) If you had to choose…laffy taffy or M&M’s?

Answer them all or just one….these are questions for you.

    (1) I have a longstanding tradition of avoiding anything resembling a mall or store on Black Friday. I stuck to my tradition this year.
    (2) Turkey.
    (3) M&Ms

    • Kyle Reed

      Good tradition

  • Stephen Bateman

    1. No
    2. Thanksgiving ham is a sin.
    3. M&M’s. Laffy taffy are too much work.

    • Kyle Reed

sorry I am going to have to disagree with you.
Thanksgiving ham is the best…and laffy taffy’s are worth the work

  • Meg

I always like your Sunday questions posts. My flight is currently delayed and I’m stuck in the airport, so I appreciate the distraction right now! 1) Yeah-ya! 2 pairs of boots and a pair of shoes all for less than the price of one pair of boots. It was awesome, basically. 2) Turkey! 3) M&Ms. Not a laffy taffy fan. Though I do find myself currently eating an airhead. I don’t recommend the strawberry flavor. :)

    • Kyle Reed

      shoes are the best.
      good luck on your flight

  • Prudence

    1) Did you go shopping on Black Friday? If so, what was your best deal?

Well I didn’t go to any stores but I did buy some shirts online for $5 a piece.

    2) Turkey or Ham?

    Turkey, can’t stand ham.

    3) If you had to choose…laffy taffy or M&M’s?

M&M’s. Perferably peanut, peanut butter, or pretzel.

    • Kyle Reed

5 bucks a piece, that is a great deal.
And peanut butter m&ms are good. never had the pretzels

  • laura anne

    1. No such thing as black friday in bonnie scotland….we don’t have thanksgiving. But it is St Andrew’s Day on tuesday! It started snowing, so I did go to the shops!

    2. turkey of course.

    3. I have no idea what laffy taffy is, but what I do love in the USA is that you have peanut butter M&Ms which you don’t get here in the UK (there is a distinct lack of peanut butter in things here…)

    • Kyle Reed

that would be terrible…no peanut butter

      • laura anne

we have peanut butter in jars..but yeah, no reeses cups or peanut butter ice cream or anything like that.

  • Jordan Wiseman

    1) Nope! I slept in my nice, warm bed until 11. I win.

    2) Turkey on Thanksgiving, ham on Christmas!

    3) M&Ms all the way.

    • Kyle Reed

me too, first time I slept in to 9am in a while. It was great

  • Jenny

    1) nope. I slept, all day. It was needed and fabulous. But i did go shopping saturday and it was insane. I didn’t buy like anything. I escaped the madness at the mall to drink espresso at Nordstroms. Nordstroms has pretty shoes but their coffee is like bad church coffee. It was an experience.

    2) I prefer the fried turkey the day of (its in peanut oil and tastes like chick-fila but turkey) but i like ham for leftovers, tastier reheated.

    3) Laffy Taffy has jokes. I like corny jokes. But i like chocolate. It’s kind of a tie, but Coconut M&Ms are my all time favorite.

    I’m indecisive today…. :)

    • Kyle Reed

      coconut m&ms sound terrible…but i hate coconut.

  • Shelby

    1. I did go black friday shopping! and Idk what my single best deal was but i bought $136 worth of clothes/shoes and saved $247 I got 4 pairs of skinny jeans, a winter coat, two pairs of shoes, a purse, a belt, 2 dresses and like 3 or 4 shirts.
    2. Honey baked ham, /swoon/
    3. umm if it was the jerry cherry big laffy taffy with sparkles in it, then laffy taffy

    • Kyle Reed

look at you, thrifty shopper. Nice job.

      • Shelby

        and you’re right
coconut is gross and ham is amazing

  • Erin

    1: Nope
2: Turkey for Thanksgiving & Ham for Christmas
3: I like both.. But if I HAD to choose it’d be peanut/peanut butter M&M’s

    • Kyle Reed

I love ham for Thanksgiving and Christmas

  • Jay

    1. I did with my wife. She wanted a $10 waffle maker from Walmart. We went at midnight to get it. As for me, the only thing I did was get the Casino Royale DVD on Amazon for $1.99

    2. Turkey. Not even close.

    3. M&M’s

    • Kyle Reed

you are a good husband for that.
And you got a deal…kind of

    1. Absolutely did not venture out Friday!

    2. Turkey.

    3. Depends on my mood (yes, I’m menopausal). Love Laffy Taffy, but sometimes only chocolate will do….

    4. And I think your team has quite the QB this year. (even though you didn’t ask & I’m not even a Rams fan)

    • Kyle Reed

you win todays prize of best comment.
I am loving the Rams and Sam Bradford. Thanks for saying that

  • peters_r_d

    1) no black Friday shopping, although I secretly wish I had

    2) both, turkey was better this year though

    3) hmmm… it’s a toss up for me, but I’d probably tak the m&ms

    • Kyle Reed

i secretly wish I could as well.

  • Joanna

    1. We don’t have Black Friday sales here in Australia. Our equivalent is Boxing Day (December 26)

    2. Nether

    3. M&Ms

    • Kyle Reed

i would love to see what boxing day is all about.

      • Joanna

Its the big shopping day of the year where people queue up early and loose their minds over possible bargains. There is often good deals to be had on leftover Christmas stock. Not sure what exactly the name has to do with it (and wikipedia isn’t sure ether)

        • Kyle Reed

ya i can imagine the deals would be amazing because of after christmas stuff. That sounds interesting

          • laura anne

Boxing Day is in the UK today – and I think it’s to do with all the empty boxes after Christmas. I think…

            • laura anne

              too. Not today. (I’m sleepy)

  • Dustin

    1. Yes, knocked out Christmas gifts (wasn’t too bad actually). Cheap blurays for some folks, I guess.
2.Turkey, never been much of a ham guy.
    3. M&Ms.

    • Kyle Reed

nice, you had a plan and a mission. That worked out well for you.

  • Michael

We go out on Black Friday, but wait until the evening. We got out this past Friday after 6PM.

    Ham for sure.

M & M’s all the way. Preferably Peanut Butter ones.

    • Kyle Reed

love that you are a ham guy, me too.

And did you get any good deals that late at night?

      • Michael

I bought a new pair of shoes for half price.

  • Jeff Goins

    Turkey, of course.
    M&M’s (peanut)
