Question(s) for You

Sunday provides us a day to relax, reflect, and refuel. On Sunday’s I like to sit back and ask a couple of questions. Maybe it sounds a little like those awkward games you play with people you do not know so that you can get to know each other better.

Lets just call it Question(s) for You.

You can answer them all or just one

1) What is one word you struggle to spell?

2) When someone says “be honest with me” you are always honest or tell some of the truth?

3) Are you an old school calendar (paper) user or new school (digital)?

Answer them all or just one….these are questions for you.

    1. None actually. I’m somewhat of a spelling Nazi. When I see people spell the word lose as ‘loose’ it drives me nuts. When I accidentally send out a tweet with a misspelled word, I cringe.

    2. I warn people when they say “be honest” that I am going to give them a full dose of honesty. I’ve had people reply, “Ok, then lie a little if you have to.”

    3. Both. I keep a small paper calendar on my desk merely for a quick reference for dates, but I use my digital calendar for appointments and anything else.

i wish I had your spelling gifts :)

  • http://theperkinsblog.net Michael

    1. Definitely
    2. I’m always honest
    3. New School for sure. April and I have our Google Calenders synced to each other.

ya definitely is a hard one.

Love that you use technology to communicate better, that is cool.

    1) What is one word you struggle to spell?
Definitely (and I copied it f/Michael below)

    2) When someone says “be honest with me” you are always honest or tell some of the truth?
I’d like to say I’m always honest, but honestly I probably only give some of the truth. – And that is the honest truth.

    3) Are you an old school calendar (paper) user or new school (digital)?
Actually both. I use a paper planner at work. It’s just easier. And for life in general I use digital. I need to be able to be at dinner and look to see what time an appointment is.

    • http://thoughtsaboutnothing.com Kyle Reed

      you are strategically honest :)

    1. I get messed up on occasionally (always want to put in two S’s) and embarrassed (always forget to put in the second R).

    2. Always honest

    3. New school digital. I’m lost without my iCal on my Mac, iPad or iPod!

    • http://thoughtsaboutnothing.com Kyle Reed

those are tough words, those s and r’s are tricky

  • http://danieljohnmusic.com daniel john

    1. problem word = occasionally. in fact, I already had to use spell check to make sure I spelled it correctly here.

    2. I used to be “mostly” (or occasionally…ha) honest with people; however, it’s something I have been letting God correct in me. it was a cowardly habit where I would abbreviate details or try to soften the blow of being fully honest. in the long run, people appreciate hearing the “truth in love”.

    3. new school all the way – calengoo (to sync my google calendars).

    • http://thoughtsaboutnothing.com Kyle Reed

well and doing church stuff and music you probably have to be very careful with how honest you are with people

  • http://www.allisonroberts.wordpress.com Allison

    1. Unnecessary-I always want to add another c.

    2. I strive to be honest. Even when it hurts. But I’d be lying of I said I always get this right.

    3. I use my blackberry calendar for personal stuff. At work I use paper.

    • http://thoughtsaboutnothing.com Kyle Reed

I am the same way, well minus the blackberry (iPhone) but I have my work stuff on paper

    1. Definatly (dp?) jus turned to the person next to me to see how to spell it- she said she always struggles too.
    2. I try to be honest with them.
    3. Both. Journaling, book reading, doodling, note jotting I am normally a paper user. For things I don’t want to lose like a list are written digitally. I don’t keep a calender- I like flying by the seat of my pants, so I’m old, old school in that area.

    • http://thoughtsaboutnothing.com Kyle Reed

I am pretty sure you spelled definitely wrong there as well :)

  • http://shelbyisrad.wordpress.com Shelby

    1. Isaiah, i misspell it all the time lol
    2. I always try to be honest
    3. Old school calendar and planner please

    • http://thoughtsaboutnothing.com Kyle Reed

I have a cousin named Isaiah, so I feel like a pro with that one. But I can see the struggle.

  • http://www.abrahamchronicles.com Dustin

    1. Funny, before I read any comments it was “definitely”. Still not sure I spelled it right.
    2. Try to be, but I’m such a people pleaser at times so its hard.
    3. New school for sure!

    • http://thoughtsaboutnothing.com Kyle Reed

yes it is tough to be honest when you also want to make people happy.
I struggle with both, sometimes I am way to honest and sometimes I want to make sure everyones happy.

  • http://www.matthewralph.com Matt

    1. Privilege (Did I spell it right?).
    2. I try my best to be honest but depending on the situation and the audience I may sugar coat.
    3. I’m not really a big calendar person, but I do like to keep track of when my favorite teams are playing on my iPhone.

    • http://thoughtsaboutnothing.com Kyle Reed

dude, I have no clue if you spelled that right…i struggle with that one as well

  • http://wvpv.me wvpv

    1. I always have to stop and think about how to spell “license”.
    2. I don’t have people ask “be honest with me” questions like that very often. If I did, I’d try to speak the truth in love, which may not result in an instant answer.
    3. Digital. If it’s not on my Google Calendar it won’t happen.
