Question(s) for You

Kyle Reed // @kylereed

Sunday provides us a day to relax, reflect, and refuel. On Sunday’s I like to sit back and ask a couple of questions. Maybe it sounds a little like those awkward games you play with people you do not know so that you can get to know each other better.

Lets just call it Question(s) for You.

1) What was the first major purchase you made for your home (furniture, electronics, etc…)?

2) What browser do you use?

3) How did you ring in the end of the world yesterday?

Answer them all or just one….these are Questions for You.

    1. For my dorm room, it was a mini fridge. So worth it to avoid using a shared fridge.

    2. Firefox on my home computer, crome on my netbook.

    3. Stood in the kitchen, watched the time tick over on my phone and shrugged

    • Kyle Reed

      Mini fridge ftw

    2) chrome
    3) I was napping.

    1. A freezer. It was a scary moment – I was a university student at the time so a lot of the furniture I got was ‘hand me downs’ and there was already a fridge and a washing machine that came with the flat – but I had to buy a freezer.

    2. Safari – mainly for twitter and facebook because it actually automatically refreshes. But if I’m watching anything with video (ie online church services, tv shows) I use Firefox.

    3. I got ready to go out for my friend’s birthday!

    • Kyle Reed

Interesting. i think I am pretty far off from getting a freezer

  • Michael

    1. Couch
    2. Chrome on my PC laptop & Safari on my iMac in my office.
    3. I was actually in the shower when the rapture occurred.

    • Kyle Reed

dude, I need a coach. But will probably buy a bed first.

      • Michael

I hear you man. I guess the advantage of getting a couch first is that you can use it as a bed.

  • Krystin

    1. I’ve yet to make a “big” purchase, so I’ll say my wall of cubes. I use them for drawers, shelves and storage.

    2. Safari or Firefox

    3. fEASTival Nash, Rosepepper and auto-tune karaoke…which you were missed at!

    • Kyle Reed

  • Stephen Lynch

    1. Electric mixer – $10 (it’s the truth)

    2. Firefox

    3. Rapped Jay-Z’s Empire State of Mind w/ Kate Carlson as Alicia Keys at our auto-tune karaoke party. Krystin knows what it’s all about!!!

Bet you didn’t see that last one coming.

    • Stephen Lynch

and someone please explain why I still don’t have a face. It’s embarrasing.

    1. mattress and box spring set. queen-size pillow top. it’s amazing! like sleeping on a cloud! i bought it when i moved into my first apartment. the one i grew up with was my parents’ first mattress/box spring set and it was older than me (it was 22 years old – i was 20 at the time i bought it). big upgrade, if you ask me!

    2. Google Chrome.

    3. i was at a women’s retreat, laying out on the beach and swimming in the ocean :)

    • Kyle Reed

I need to get a mattress and box springs for sure

  • Jody

    1. spent $150 on pretty much all our furniture (chair, couch, kitchen table, entertainment center) – it looks like a bach pad but cheap is cheap and when you work ministry before graduation college $150 still felt major :-)

    2. safari at home firefox at work

    3. hanging out with some middle school kids talking about what it means to have integrity and guard our hearts

    • Kyle Reed

dang, I need you to shop for me :)

      • Jody

you just gotta be strategic :-) find some friends who are out of college and about to get married – when they join homes they just want some $$$ and less crap to move – enter your new furniture

        • Kyle Reed

i actually have a pretty cool hook up. I am trading blog design for someone to decorate my place.

          • Jody

            I would say that wins!

  • dustin

    1) Probably a bedroom suite set right before we got married.

    2) I rotate between Firefox and Safari.

    3) Celebrating my almost 2 year old’s birthday at the park!

  • Adam

    2. Chrome and Firefox. Switch between the two.
    3. Was sitting at a wedding.

    • Kyle Reed

  • shellie (baylormum)

Finally. Was it just me who couldn’t comment??

    1. TV

    2. Chrome. But wish it would quit crashing every time I need shockwave or flash.

    3. A neighbor’s b’day party. Then a nap….

    • Kyle Reed

I think so, sorry about that. glad you did though.

And that is a bummer about Chrome, that sounds a bit weird
