    1. We write what we’re thankful for on pieces of paper and go around the table and read them. Mom usually busts out the ones from last year to read also. It’s heartfelt, awkward and funny all at the same time.
    2. Pecan pie
    3. I’m thankful for the relentless God that’s in pursuing me.

I usually don’t go out on Black Friday, but my wife, sister and daughter do. They get the Sunday paper and make a plan,. I think they left at 4am last year. They got some sweet deals, no doubt. No worries from me. My wife is the most thrifty person I know.

We do the same thing, go around the circle and tell one thing you are thankful for. Its a good tradition to have.

    1) Our family tradition is that we spend Thanksgiving at the beach…. it never really made sense to me growing up (I always wanted snow instead), but now it’s special.

    2) Corn Casserole or Sweet Potato Casserole…my Grandma makes these two things and they are AWESOME!

    3) As cliche as it sounds… I am thankful for all my family and friends! God has blessed me with a MASSIVE family and more friends than I deserve! =D

And NO…. I will not be shopping on Black Friday. I HATE shopping in general… but especially on Black Friday…WAY TOO MANY PEOPLE!

Have a great week with your family Kyle!

Not a big fan, or in fact not a fan at all of sweet potatoes…sorry. But I will take your word for it being awesome.

    1) we pass the spoon saying what we are thankful for. We have a massive amount of ppl there so normally it gets super sappy, emotional and awkward. Last year someone even brought out the bible, and wrote a speech. This year… I dared the other “young ones” to make the most ridiculous speech ever…. It’s going to be epic.
    2. My moms pumpkin cream cheese roll. Yummy

    3. I am thankful for how much God has been shaping me, and the opportunities I have had recently to share His love with others… It’s been incredible:

    1. We used to go to my Uncle’s or Great-Grandpa’s but the past few years have just been kinda crazy, but since my Grandma’s cancer we’re all having it home this year at our house (i live with my g-ma when not in school) So I’ll be playing hostess
    2. I like all food, and lots of it.
    3. I am thankful for my Grandma she’s provided for me for 10 years when she didn’t have to and always taken care of me, and I am thankful she is a fighter and trying to beat this cancer

i went shopping on black friday once and thought i was going to either attack someone or just go crazy, i don’t function well in that much chaos.
