1.) Thought that I had an extra hour to prep my illustrations for Sunday Morning, to realize that the clock was correct (my wife reset them after I passed out from our massive outreach on Sat night) so I had 30 min to finish them up!!!

    2.) hot tamales – the Fire ones…

That is what happens when you think and have a wife, things get messed up.
      I don't don't really prescribe to either.

      • http://intensedebate.com/people/big_b_rad Brad_Parler

        LOL – yeah silly me…
But if you saw a pic of my wife – you'd know just how well I have done for myself! ;)

My problem wasn't that I thought that she changed the clock but not thinking that she would have done it already…

        • http://intensedebate.com/people/klreed189 Kyle Reed

No you are right, any wife makes a man better.

    1. I didn't even know the clocks had changed. I woke up to my phone alarm, had a normal morning. It wasn't until I got to church that I knew the time had changed. My cell phone is my main clock and it changed automatically. So I just went about my normal morning.

    2. Ummm…I don't know that I have a favorite candy. I'm kinda a fatty and like them all. Anything chocolate would be a favorite I guess.

    • http://intensedebate.com/people/klreed189 Kyle Reed

Sure, we can go with me making that, or you can go here: http://www.businesspundit.com/wp-content/uploads/

I am with you, all candy is good.
And aren't you glad that it wasn't spring forward? That would have been pretty bad.

      • http://intensedebate.com/people/JRallis JRallis

Yes, spring forward would have sucked.

        That pumpkin is awesome.

I don't get why we still even observe it still … we don't live in a farming society any longer – and I heard this morning that it's the equivalent of putting the entire country in Jet Lag…

Can we protest this too!!! :)

        • http://intensedebate.com/people/klreed189 Kyle Reed

We can protest anything you want, add it to the list.

        • http://intensedebate.com/people/JRallis JRallis

heh. I donno why but that just gave me a really funny word picture in my mind….the entire world in 'Jet Lag'…lol

I heard that part of daylight savings was for when we were at war so we could utilize the daylight better… does that have any truth to it? At any rate, that's also no longer needed.

I hate getting off work at 5 or 5:30 and it's already dark.

          • http://intensedebate.com/people/klreed189 Kyle Reed

I hate Jet Lag so we would have a pretty grumpy world.
The only thing about having daylight savings for war that wouldn't make sense is when it falls back, because like you said, we lose a ton of daylight and it is dark at 5. But in the spring it would make sense.
