Where Do You Want To Go?

Kyle Reed // @kylereed

I have been on a mini-vacation for the past 2 weeks and have felt a little out of the pocket. I spent some time at home and then at the re:create conference last week. I left these two weeks desperately wanting to travel some more.

Let me explain some more:

I’m with you on the “cabin for a week” – but I want to go to Yosemite. Do the cowboy thing for a week. That would be sweet!

    • http://thoughtsaboutnothing.com Kyle Reed

      that would be pretty cool

Dude, there are so many places I want to go. I’ve been stuck on the East Coast most of my life, with the exception of a 2-day business trip to San Francisco. One of my bucket list items is to step foot in every state.

Would love to visit Colorado too, but if I could pack up and leave today, I’d love to go back to Cali, rent a car and drive along the coast up to Oregon & Washington.

now that would be a beautiful bride. Why not do it?

Hmm, a wife, a 2 year old, 2 dogs a full time job and $0. Some day! (I hope)

I actually have always wanted to go to Denver, CO and Seattle, WA. I am big on snow, rain and mountains!

    • http://thoughtsaboutnothing.com Kyle Reed

There are a ton of places I want to go – most of them within Europe, Asia and the Middle East. I just love that side of the world.

    • http://thoughtsaboutnothing.com Kyle Reed

I would love to go to Ireland

Snowboarding at Breckenridge is legit. Anywhere in the mountains is beautiful this time of year.

But you should come to Portland. It will happen.

    • http://thoughtsaboutnothing.com Kyle Reed

      Portland or bust

Seattle. New York City. And Chicago.

    • http://thoughtsaboutnothing.com Kyle Reed

all great places, I have yet to go to New York. Spent some time in Chicago and a week in Seattle. Seattle is awesome

I want to visit the Pacific Northwest.

I want to go dancing again in the Millenium Park Fountain in Chicago

I want to play in snow some more. I was in Alaska last month and i couldn’t get enough.

I am hoping to spend a couple weeks in Europe this summer.

I’m also a pilots kid, my free flying will be done september 2012. Anyone who needs a travel companion… Im game. I want to actually start using it before it runs out.

    • http://thoughtsaboutnothing.com Kyle Reed

wow, you better start pretty soon. Why haven’t you flown to stl yet?

I’ve been jonesin’ to go back to Portland since I went there last year. San Diego is also on the list, but it’s close enough to go there often if we want. I heart Portland.

    • http://thoughtsaboutnothing.com Kyle Reed

San Diego is beautiful, love going there.
never been to portland so I would probably choose it first

      • http://www.contentunderpressure.net Josh

You’d love it….great city and people.

uhh let’s I want to visit a lot of countries right now but I would have to say the number one place would be Greece. I think it is an amazing country and I would without a doubt visit/backpack to other countries around it.
    Now to learn some greek!

    • http://thoughtsaboutnothing.com Kyle Reed

greece???? I had no clue, and you do not speak greek, but good try. Maybe one day you will be as smart as me

I’m with you on a skiing trip. My wife and I are planning our summer trip right now. My one rule is to go somewhere I’ve never been before. I don’t care where, just somewhere new.

    • http://thoughtsaboutnothing.com Kyle Reed

thats a great rule. i think I will have that rule as well…now to find a wife to go with me, preferably not someone else’s wife

Nashville. I have ached to go back since I left. I want to go sit Riverside across the street from where the bend in the road is on that bench. I want to take a week and mix it with the places that make my heart beat and fun. I want to eat at Fat Mo’s and watch the traffic roll by. I want to sit at the top of the hill of Rose Park Magnet School – best view of the city.

I want to take a week and soak it all in as a visitor – and then try to leave again….maybe it’s not a such a good idea :-) which is prob why I haven’t been back.

    • http://thoughtsaboutnothing.com Kyle Reed

dang, you have a love for nashville.
Well if you ever decide to come back let me know, we can hang out.

I would love to spend sometime in Seattle and then go down the coast into Oregon on my way to California.
